We are actively seeking a dynamic Service Admin/Dispatcher to join our growing Industrial Battery team out of our De Pere location. The Service Admin/Dispatcher maintains an organized assignment of industrial battery technicians to jobs, assuring timely response to customers while assigning the most logical technician to each job. Responsibilities

  • Monitor service calls for battery/charger related field repairs, ensure all jobs are assigned and completed as required.
  • Monitor workflow for battery/charger related shop repairs including quoting and follow up.
  • Schedule and dispatch battery service techs.
  • Respond to phone calls from customers and battery service techs.
  • Stay in contact with customers and inform them of any changes in the schedule.
  • If there are parts on order through the Parts Department, maintain contact with Parts Department to ensure timely receipt of parts and reschedule return trips as needed.
  • Issue repair orders for new jobs or units that are scheduled for maintenance.
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors for miscellaneous purchases needed to complete jobs (non-parts).
  • Review Open Order Analysis daily to ensure all jobs are on schedule and closed as needed.
  • Assist battery technicians as needed with any questions or concerns you can help with (not technical info).
  • Prepare work orders for closeout and approve for billing.
  • Approving timecards/completing their weekly hours for payroll.
  • SM - Scheduling and Battery Washes. Prepare Fleet maintenance reports.
  • Monitor boost charge schedule to keep batteries at proper state of charge.
  • Monitor scrap inventory and schedule scrap pick-up.
  • Input data in V-Simple for warranty orders.
  • Reporting battery cycler tests as needed.
  • Monitor and order shop supplies (acid, etc.).
  • Perform projects as requested.
