About The Position

This position is to provide sales coverage for the Midwest Southeast USA region (Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin). The Service Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for selling the products for the Paper Service Divisions. The role involves building new and long-term relationships with customers, continually improving account growth by understanding client objectives, driving client retention and satisfaction, and serving as a liaison between clients and internal teams. The SAM will also maintain organized territory records in the Company’s CRM system, manage territory forecasts, budgets, and cost controls, and represent all assigned product lines during mill visits. Additionally, the SAM will develop and adhere to processes and workflows related to account success and provide input on new processes.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or 5 years’ experience in Pulp and Paper
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Andritz Stock Preparation and Paper Machine Service product lines is required
  • Willingness to travel- 80% of time will be spent in the field
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize when multiple tasks require attention
  • Legal status to work in the US is required

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience and established relationships with the customers in the region is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact to build new and long-term relationships with customers

  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed and assist with implementing these processes
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
