About The Position

Superior is looking for a Service Account Manager to support and grow our electrical service work across multiple customer accounts. In this role, you’ll oversee customer service requests, coordinate scheduling, ensure successful project delivery, and build strong customer relationships. The Service Account Manager is also responsible for establishing new customers and growing their own book of business. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, with frequent travel across Central Ohio.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installation
  • You have extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, contracts, and associated costs

  • If you have experience using Accubid and/or Bluebeam

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and manage their electrical service requests
  • Ensure that service projects are built on schedule and within budget
  • Proactively identify and land new customer accounts
  • Work closely with the Foreman and/or Superintendent to drive the project from kickoff to completion
  • Manage multiple service projects and customer accounts simultaneously
  • Oversee service schedules, billings, and invoicing
  • Accurately estimate time and material changes and provide timely quotes to customers
  • Engage with various subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of services and materials
  • Collaborate with the customer to negotiate and resolve issues related to service requests
  • Maintain a high degree of safety on every service project
