About The Position
Fish N Grill, a well-established restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team. Since opening our doors in 2010, we have built a reputation for providing exceptional dining experiences, and we are looking for a superstar server who can contribute to our mission. The ideal candidate will have previous server experience, preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment, although this is not a strict requirement as we are willing to train the right individual. We value hard work, a quick learning ability, and a commitment to long-term employment. As a server at Fish N Grill, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests in a 16-table dining room. This role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanor. You will be expected to manage customer orders and payment processing, as well as bussing and cleaning tables. A key aspect of this position is the ability to work well with co-workers and contribute to a positive team environment. We are looking for someone who is not only capable of delivering excellent service but also willing to grow with us over the long term. In addition to providing great service, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, which includes sweeping and mopping floors as needed. The ability to remain polite and composed in tense situations is a valuable trait we seek in our servers. Detailed expectations and requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
