As a Server at Ynot Italian, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming patrons, explaining menu choices, taking orders, and delivering meals to tables. You will be expected to check back with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns they may have. This position requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers. You may also serve as a dining room host/hostess when needed, ensuring that guests are seated promptly and comfortably. In addition to serving food and beverages, you will be responsible for entering orders into our computerized system, preparing final bills, and processing payments. You will need to maintain cleanliness in your assigned sections, including tables, seats, and floors, and perform daily preparatory tasks as outlined in the Prep Sheet. Your role will also involve monitoring the dining experience of guests, responding to requests, and resolving any complaints with professionalism and courtesy. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to stand for long periods, carry trays of food, and perform various cleaning duties. You will be expected to maintain a positive and supportive work environment through effective communication with your team and management. This position may also involve working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the restaurant's needs.
