Requirements

• A high school education or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage required.
• ServSafe or Tips certification.
• Ability to work long hours as needed.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
• Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Ability to multi-task on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at work on time to get the restaurant/lounge/cafe set up and ready to open.
• Keep the area clean and attractive throughout the meal period.
• Perform cleaning duties as the outlet closes, including floors, tables, buffet, and sidework duties.
• Pour water, upsell food & beverage, make helpful suggestions, and answer questions.
• Remember names or favorite choices and offer a friendly smile.
• Understand the food and beverage being served to provide excellent service.
• Handle cash/credit accurately and timely.
• Follow established safety and security policies & procedures.
