About The Position

Five Iron Golf’s core mission is to seamlessly meld golf and entertainment, and in the process, make golf inclusive and accessible for all. The Server at Five Iron Golf goes beyond simply taking orders, guiding guests through the menu and offering recommendations that elevate both the dining and gaming experience and the overall guest satisfaction, while also driving sales.

Requirements

• Server and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service, upselling techniques, and contributing to a lively atmosphere
• Accurately take food and drink orders
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
• Monitor guests' experience and promptly address any concerns
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
• Ensure the golf simulators, tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
• Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
• Verify guests' legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed
