About the position
Okto Mediterranean LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated server to join their team in Houston, TX. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional guest service and hospitality, particularly in the area of food and wine service. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of wine and food pairings, along with a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Work a section during service, guiding guests through the beverage and food offerings and executing wine service.
- Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction through a commitment to a positive attitude.
- Possess knowledge of wine and a thorough understanding of the food menu and how the two pair, as well as all other beverages offered.
- Maximize wine revenue through attentive, guest-centered salesmanship.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of wine and food pairings
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
