About The Position

The TGI Fridays Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through personalized interactions and attention to detail. This role requires knowledge of the menu, the ability to upsell items, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards while effectively managing guest expectations.

Requirements

• Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to hear well in loud environments.
• Must maintain a neat appearance in company-approved uniform.
• Must operate the P.O.S. system and handle transactions accurately.
• Must handle guest complaints calmly and notify a manager when necessary.
• Must communicate effectively with hearing and sight-impaired guests.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe counters/tables.

• Experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a genuine smile and builds rapport.
• Identifies guest preferences through visual and verbal cues to customize service.
• Takes food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
• Ensures timely service of food and beverages to guests.
• Checks on guests frequently and provides silent service as needed.
• Learns the TGI Fridays menu and recommends items to guests.
• Verifies the age of guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
• Follows all TGI Fridays Service Style Standards.
• Accurately inputs orders into the POS system while engaging with guests.
• Practices conversational ordering by mentioning current promotions.
