As a Server at The Newberry, you are more than an order-taker. You are a storyteller, a guide, and a key part of each guest’s journey. You’ll deliver personalized, attentive service and make every meal feel like a special occasion—whether it’s morning espresso or late-night bites with craft cocktails.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• A calm, confident presence and warm communication style
• Enthusiasm for food, wine, and local ingredients
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask gracefully
• Flexible schedule availability (weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays)
• Passion for connecting with people and creating memorable moments

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide relaxed yet attentive service
• Share details on seasonal menus and highlight house favorites
• Take accurate orders and deliver food & drinks with polish and pace
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth flow
• Handle payments and checks using POS systems accurately
• Maintain a clean, stylish, and guest-ready environment
• Offer recommendations that showcase Bend’s flavors and hospitality
• Support fellow team members to keep service running smoothly
