About The Position
The Server position at The Franklin Institute involves providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction. The role includes assisting with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area, replenishing food stations, clearing dinner tables, and providing wine service. The Server must maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices, anticipate guests' needs, and exceed customer service expectations. The position requires maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment and relaying important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person. Additionally, the Server must respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns and be able to handle and/or lift and move a minimum of 20 lbs. to a height of 5 feet. A professional appearance and mannerisms are also essential.
