As a server, you create a fun, welcoming, and efficient dining atmosphere by delivering accurate orders, maintaining high service standards, and building genuine connections with guests. Requirements

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• One (1) to two (2) years serving in high volume Food and Beverage environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good reading, writing, and mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
• Able to complete heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good judgement and decision-making abilities.
• Health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness. Team member required to obtain cards individually and provide proof of possession prior to first day of employment subject to local US laws.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the space stay safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and personalized service to all Guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Guide Guests through the menu, answer questions thoroughly, suggest specific items, and share information about the venue.
• Accurately take and enter all orders into the POS system and deliver orders correctly and promptly.
• Perform final quality checks on food and beverages before delivering them to Guests.
• Present food and beverages as soon as they are prepared with a sense of urgency.
• Practice full hands in/full hands out to maintain service efficiency.
• Communicate and build rapport with Guests, learning names when possible to create a welcoming environment.
• Handle Guest complaints appropriately and notify a Manager when necessary.
• Follow all proper cash handling procedures and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables, booths, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Maintain service stations and complete all assigned side work, opening, running, and closing duties.
• Scrape, rack, and stack dishes and glassware properly in the dish area.
• Assist in training new Staff Members when applicable.
• Ensure a harassment-free environment through proper conduct.
• Use respectful language with Guests, Staff Members, and Managers at all times.
• Respond appropriately and remain calm in emergency situations.
• Notify Manager/Supervisor of low inventory.
• Understand, comply with, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program; report any accidents.
• Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running (Other duties as assigned)
