About The Position

Join the team at Tradewinds Restaurant, located within the scenic Duran Golf Club, as a Server, Part-Time . In this role, you'll help create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering excellent service, handling orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Demonstrates patience, attentiveness, and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner, providing a warm welcome and highlighting any featured menu items
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and promptly input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure timely service
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus to make informed recommendations to guests
• Utilize the POS system to place orders with accuracy, clearly communicating any special preparation requests to the culinary team
• Manage guest transactions by preparing checks, processing payments, and balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
• Deliver attentive and responsive service by refilling beverages and checking in with guests throughout their dining experience
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, referring complex issues to management as appropriate
• Adhere to all cleaning and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and orderly dining environment, including ensuring proper setup of dining and serving areas
• Serve as a bartender or beverage cart attendant as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset
