Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, accurately handle payments, and wok collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Greet guests promptly, courteously, and with a positive attitude. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and restaurant services. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Ensure timely delivery of orders, serving food and drinks professionally and efficiently. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly. Clear and reset tables quickly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit card transactions, and issue receipts. Communicate and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, bussers, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service. Address guest complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, involving a manager when necessary. Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
