What You’ll Do As a Server , you’ll be the face of Joe’s and play a key role in creating an excellent dining experience for every guest.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
Team player with great communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Illinois

Previous serving experience preferred, but not required—we’ll train the right person

Responsibilities

Greeting guests promptly and warmly, making them feel welcome
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS system
Delivering food and drinks quickly while ensuring accuracy and presentation
Anticipating guest needs and providing attentive, friendly service
Upselling menu items, specials, and signature pizzas or pastas
Handling payments and processing transactions accurately
Working closely with bussers, hosts, and kitchen staff to keep service flowing
Maintaining a clean, organized section and assisting with side work
