About The Position
Hilton Arlington National Landing is looking to welcome a Server to The Landing Kitchen and Bar! The hotel boasts 393 rooms, three food and beverage outlets, and 23,000 square feet of meeting space. We're less than five minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and only three blocks from the metro, providing easy access to downtown DC, just five miles away. The ideal candidate has experience serving in a hotel or lounge environment, has open availability to work weekends and holidays, and has a spirit to serve. Pay Rate: $12.45 per hour Shift Pattern: 3PM-11PM What are the benefits of working for Hilton? As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
