The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate, self-motivated, diligent, and with a natural inclination to make the people around them happy. Responsibilities: Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and daily specials Suggest wine pairings based on the food they order Confirm orders with chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Work closely with restaurant management and immediately address all customer concerns as they present themselves Create a pleasant dining experience Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant environment required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor Familiarity with POS systems and standards restaurant procedures Food Handlers and TABC certifications Flexible availability, including mornings & evenings, weekends and holidays
