About The Position

Being a Server at Plymouth Harbor is more than just serving food; it involves getting to know residents and being part of a supportive team that feels like family, all while enjoying a beautiful waterfront view.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age to legally sell and/or serve alcohol in a restaurant within the State of Florida.
Candidates must complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service experience in a restaurant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock service station, completely and correctly, prior to meal service.
Set or reset each table properly, as shown on the table setting layout.
Greet residents and guests cordially and take their order within a timely manner, being sensitive to the wishes of the resident.
Review menu with residents and present any special items of the day.
Take accurate food and beverage orders.
Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to place all drink/food orders and track resident meals.
Retrieve food orders from the kitchen; serve complete meal to all residents and guests in a timely fashion.
Perform side work correctly as assigned according to the side work procedure guidelines and to the level required on the sanitation checklist.
Maintain friendly, professional relations with residents and guests at all times.
Assist bussers in clearing dirty dishes from all tables in a timely manner, as needed.
Assist other servers with the needs of their tables.
Immediately report any accidents and or incidents to the Dining Manager or Operations Manager.
