About The Position

A Server at Pizza Rio is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming environment, guiding guests through the menu, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Servers represent the restaurant’s hospitality standards and work closely with the kitchen and management team to deliver efficient, friendly, and attentive service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to carry trays and lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
Present menus and explain Pizza Rio’s food and beverage offerings.
Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation.
Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
Check on guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction.
Process payments and return change or receipts accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas.
Assist with opening, running side work, and closing duties.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and managers to ensure smooth service.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Help promote daily specials, desserts, and beverages.
