About The Position

Southern Hops Brewing Company located in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking experienced Front of House staff to add to our team! With a full kitchen that will utilize quality local ingredients, our main goal is providing our customers with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and our employees with support, a great work environment, and a positive culture of teamwork. Southern Hops Brewing Co. has a decade of history in South Carolina. Owners are local South Carolinians that strive to focus on quality craft beer and local ingredients. We are looking for skilled and friendly servers to join our team! As a server, you will play an important role at Southern Hops. Our ultimate goal is to give the customer such a positive experience that they can't wait to come back! We will be able to do this by making the customer feel welcome, provide friendly and efficient service, and possibly introducing them craft beer for the first time. Southern Hops focuses on a team-like atmosphere and will provide you the tools to achieve this main goal. We can't wait to work with you.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Server
• Timeliness to work
• 1 year of experience with using a Point-of-Sale System like TOAST
• Being a critical thinker and using problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Hard worker
• Dependable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of craft beer and the ability to recognize different beer styles is preferred
• Food safety training a plus
