About The Position

The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality and creating a memorable dining experience for every guest at PF Chang’s in SeaTac Airport. This role ensures accurate order taking, timely food and beverage delivery, and friendly, efficient service in a fast‑paced airport environment. The Server supports overall restaurant operations by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following all brand standards, and working collaboratively with the team. The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding guest service while upholding PF Chang’s commitment to quality, consistency, and an elevated dining experience for travelers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer‑service environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest‑service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑traffic environment with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport badge , which includes passing a 10‑year background check.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills for accurately handling payments and POS transactions.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule , including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • MUST have open availability.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must meet the state minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Must have and maintain alcohol awareness certification as required by airport and state regulations.
  • Strong customer‑service and hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming guest experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with customers, coworkers, and members of management in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Ability to focus on providing a superior guest experience in an enthusiastic, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, in English.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast‑paced, high‑volume airport environment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy with orders, payments, and service steps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support smooth service operations.
  • Basic math skills for accurately handling cash, making change, and operating a POS system.
  • Ability to follow all safety, sanitation, and food‑handling procedures consistently.
  • Reliable time management and the ability to maintain punctuality and dependability with limited supervision.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and effectively communicate information individually and in small‑group situations to customers and coworkers.
  • Must be able to understand the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must be able to visually navigate through the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, attentive, and responsive guest service to ensure an exceptional dining experience for every traveler.
  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, answer questions, and offer menu recommendations when needed.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy of each order.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond quickly to requests or concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service area, including tables, stations, and assigned sections, including side work.
  • Handle payments, including voucher, accurately and process transactions securely.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health department regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, kitchen staff to support smooth operations.
  • Adhere to PF Chang’s brand standards, uniform guidelines, and service expectations at all times.
  • Assist in side‑work duties such as stocking, rolling silverware, and setting up or breaking down the dining area.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and managers in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic airport environment.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.
