The Server will provide attentive service to all customers while taking and serving food and beverage orders. Servers are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the venue while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Server in a contemporary dining restaurant
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight (8)-hour shift and work inside assigned bar area in the venue.
  • Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
  • Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in high-end, service-focused environment. It is the employee's responsibility to secure and maintain the current status of all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by local, state, or federal government agencies. ANSI approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures a seamless guest experience
  • Prepares table for service
  • Acts as the food and cocktail tour guide, making personal recommendations along the way
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu to answer all questions from guests
  • Serves food, wine, and beverages
  • Oversees all aspects of table service
  • Delivers all requests from guests in a timely fashion
  • Maintains, clears, and resets table set ups
  • Inputs all orders into the POS system accurately
  • Ensures work area is following the Heath District health codes at all times
  • Must be able to handle cash quickly and accurately
  • Keeps all stations stocked by polishing and distributing china, glassware, and silverware
  • Performs proper cash, comp, and check control procedures
  • Performs opening, running, and closing side work
  • Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
  • Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
  • Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
  • Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
