About The Position
The Honu, one of downtown Dunedin’s favorite island-inspired dining spots, is looking for a part-time Server to join their friendly, fast-paced front-of-house team. As a Server at The Honu, you’ll deliver warm, attentive service while helping guests enjoy the relaxed, tropical atmosphere. You’ll work closely with the FOH and BOH teams to keep service smooth, upbeat, and efficient. The Honu Restaurant and Tiki Bar is a high-volume venue located in Downtown Dunedin, seeking professionals with craft, tiki, Hawaiian culture, and rum knowledge focused on sustainability and high-quality service standards. They are willing to train the right candidates. The Honu excels in events, hosting weddings, rehearsal dinners, large birthday, and anniversary parties. Staff members are expected to be enthusiastic about craft cocktails and tiki culture, outgoing, have experience in casual fine dining and high-volume restaurants, and take pride in providing attentive and friendly service.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely service
- Take orders accurately and deliver food/drinks with care
- Maintain a clean and organized section
- Assist with side work, opening/closing duties, and team support
- Ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of
- Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines
