About The Position

Provides attentive service to all guests while taking and serving food and beverage orders. Servers are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the restaurant, while providing exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Acts as an ambassador of the restaurant, marketing it and all products offered to the targeted customer base. Exhibits and executes a complete knowledge of the restaurant’s steps of service, selling and upselling techniques. Provides each customer with a properly itemized bill and secure payment according to established Company’s procedures. Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assists other team members when the opportunity arises. Communicates with the management and other service staff to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents. Ensure that assigned area, side station, tables and POS stations are clean and well stocked at all times. Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levels. Adheres to all established policies , procedures and guidelines. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of eight-hour shift, to work inside assigned area in the venue. Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while multitasking in a stressful conditions. Must be able twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry necessary objects. Must be able to work in a fast pace and high –volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust; and communicate during this time, sometimes within a small area. Must be able to lift and carry a tray, weighting a minimum of 25 lbs. in a busy, crowded and dimly lit environment. Must be able to work in a fast pace and high –volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust; and communicate during this time, sometimes within a small area. Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned. Provide help and support to all fellow team members. Further duties not currently listed in this job description may be added at manager’s discretion

Requirements
