Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a fine-dining or upscale-casual environment REQUIRED
Ability to handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and guest concerns with professionalism and grace
Strong multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment
Excellent communication skills with a polished and engaging demeanor
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and presentation
Ability to stay organized and efficient under pressure
Friendly and approachable, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
Knowledgeable about food, wine, and spirits to offer educated recommendations
Ability to collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of contemporary American cuisine and craft cocktails is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems and order entry

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and promptly, providing a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive
Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and clarity
Provide guests with knowledge about the menu, daily specials, and pairings
Ensure all orders are delivered timely and meet Trumbull Kitchen’s quality standards
Handle guest requests, concerns, or special occasions with professionalism and care
Work with the kitchen to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are met
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to hygiene standards
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience
Assist with maintaining and organizing the restaurant front-of-house area
Ensure that all payment transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
