About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • All current food handler and alcohol awareness cards. (TAM Card, Food Handler’s Safety Card, and a Sheriffs Card for cross training purposes)
  • Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred
  • Must have a well groomed disposition to make a favorable impression
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Must be able to stand, walk, carry food for up to at least 8 hours in fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environments
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions and lift at least 50lbs.
  • Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English
  • Must be able to maneuver through the restaurant and tables
  • Accurate math/cash handling skills

Responsibilities

  • Pre-bussing, Order-taking, delivery, and clearing of food and/or beverage.
  • Accurately taking orders and delivering orders in a timely manner.
  • Alerting manager on duty of any allergies.
  • Checking stations beginning, during, and end of shifts to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness in accordance to SNHD and company policy.
  • Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner with your name and any specials/recommendations.
  • Suggestive selling of drinks, appetizers, and desserts.
  • Writing down and repeating orders back to ensure accuracy.
  • Inputting orders into Pixel to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order, including the correct modifications.
  • Retrieving order from kitchen and ensuring accuracy before delivery to guest.
  • Full ingredients and cocktail knowledge.
  • Performing side work at the start and running end of each shift.
  • Understanding and utilization of all server POS functions.
  • Opening and closing server responsibilities.
  • Preparing and processing check in a timely manner for each guest.
  • Fully understanding upselling, sales approaches, and common complaints.
