Be part of an exciting new chapter at the Missouri Athletic Club with the opening of MAC Clayton, the Club's newest location, designed to carry forward more than 120 years of tradition into a modern and elevated experience. Anticipated to open early 2026, MAC Clayton will feature state-of-the-art facilities, refined dining, and thoughtfully designed spaces for athletics, wellness, and social connection. This new Clubhouse will serve as a cornerstone for members seeking excellence in hospitality, culinary innovation, and community engagement. We are seeking professional, guest-focused Servers to elevate the member dining experience at our Clayton location. We are staffing for two distinct concepts-an elevated casual restaurant and a refined dining experience-offering multiple pathways for skilled and motivated servers.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of serving experience in upscale dining, hotels, private clubs, or high-end restaurants preferred.
• Strong hospitality instincts with the ability to read guests, anticipate needs, and elevate the overall dining experience.
• Excellent communication, confidence at the table, and the ability to describe food and beverages with finesse.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performing FOH and BOH team.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and a commitment to consistency in service.
• Positive, gracious demeanor and genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• Willingness to learn MAC Clayton's standards, menu philosophy, wine program, and service sequences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, polished, and anticipatory service-building genuine connections with members and recognizing personalized preferences.
• Guide members through menu offerings, daily features, cocktails, and beverage recommendations with confidence and clarity.
• Provide knowledgeable cocktail service-describing house cocktails, understanding spirit profiles, and assisting members in selecting beverages suited to their tastes.
• Execute club-standard service sequences with precision, including pacing, coursing, table maintenance, and tableside communication.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the Culinary, Bar, and Support teams to ensure accuracy, speed, and consistency.
• Maintain a pristine dining environment, ensuring readiness of tables, stations, side work, and FOH setup.
• Support private events, wine dinners, and specialty programming as needed.
• Uphold all MAC Clayton service expectations and assist in reinforcing standards among newer team members.
• Handle member requests and concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
