Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum one (1) year serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
Food safety certification preferred
Alcohol awareness certification required (TIPS or equivalent)
Exceptional guest service orientation with the ability to create meaningful connection and rapport
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in menu knowledge and recommendations
Ability to multitask and maintain poise in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order entry and presentation
Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support bar and back-of-house operations
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Passion for delivering memorable hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations

Nice To Haves

Minimum one (1) year serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
Food safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver a warm, engaging, and authentic Irish pub experience to every guest from initial greeting through final farewell
Demonstrate full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including Irish specialties, craft cocktails, draft beer selections, and featured promotions
Guide guests confidently through menu selections, making thoughtful recommendations to enhance their experience
Accurately enter food and beverage orders and ensure timely coordination with the bar and kitchen for seamless service execution
Monitor tables attentively, anticipating guest needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience
Present food and beverages with pride, ensuring proper preparation, accuracy, and visual appeal
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming section, including resetting tables promptly and maintaining bar-top awareness
Process payments accurately and handle guest transactions with professionalism and efficiency
Uphold all food safety and responsible alcohol service standards in compliance with state and company guidelines
Support fellow team members during peak periods to ensure overall pub flow and guest satisfaction
Contribute to a culture of camaraderie, accountability, and hospitality excellence
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall pub operations
