About The Position

The purpose of the Food Runner position is to present, carry, and run food, as well as clear plates by restaurant standards. Verbally provides accurate descriptions of various menu items and courses to Guests. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a Food & Beverage Service preferred
• Experience related to dealing with the general public preferred
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate with guests, team members, and managers effectively
• Basic knowledge and understanding of math
• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be on feet for a long period of time
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely

Responsibilities

• Presents, carries, and runs food by restaurant standards
• Provides accurate descriptions of menu items and courses
• Clears plates from tables
• Prepares and serves coffee and tea as needed
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
• To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.
