About The Position
Servers play a pivotal role in the guest experience at Ascension Coffee, providing genuine hospitable service in a warm environment.
Requirements
- One year of high volume server experience.
- Strong customer service skills required
Nice To Haves
- Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with genuine hospitality
- Take guest's drink and food orders
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
- Suggest different drinks, appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and coffee
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
- Confirm orders with the baristas, chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
- Assist with setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
