Grandfather Golf & Country Club, a prestigious golf and country club located in Linville, NC, is seeking new & experienced servers who are positive, outing, passionate and hardworking to join our team. Our Food and Beverage operation is critical to our success and our team members have a tremendous impact on our members dining experience. We offer our members various outlets for dining ranging from very casual to fine dining. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays through July.
Participation in club events is required

Nice To Haves

Server experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant or country club setting not required but preferred.
Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, etiquette, and safety standards not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

Position requires working in different outlets, and serving during our member events.
Greet and seat members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy of all orders.
Deliver food and beverage orders to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
Respond promptly to members' and guests' requests and inquiries.
Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset after use.
Assist with food and beverage inventory management and restocking.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Role includes set up and break down for various club events.
Schedule requires being available for all major holidays through July.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
