About The Position

The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida. We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Food Server. Food Service candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Part-time. need to be able to work weekends. Food Servers at The Glenview at Pelican Bay strive to create a warm, friendly and unique fine dining experience with our focus on giving our guests excellent service and satisfaction through a well-trained, efficient team. Our team will work together professionally, effectively and efficiently and be the leader in the service industry. Food Servers will assist our clients with services including but not limited to: Assist the front server in the performance of their duties in serving the residents in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain the cleanliness and availability of the dining room. Reset tables and performing properly opening and closing side work. Pour water, serve bread and butter, and refill beverages. Serve appetizers to the tables. Remove all dirty dishes from tables. Keep wait station area clean and perform various cleaning duties. Serve desserts from the dessert cart to residents. Offering and serving coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages to tables.

Requirements

Must possess the skills and job-related knowledge to perform the above functions.
Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen.
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.

Nice To Haves

No prior dining room experience necessary but preferred.
