Overview About Cutalong at Tributer Resort: Located in Mineral, Virginia, Cutalong at Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes 900 residential entitlements, featuring estate homes and homesites, executive homesites, cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club. Position Summary: Our food and beverage team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver a high-quality dining experience by providing exceptional service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a server preferred but training will be provided
- Food Handlers certification required upon hiring
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and memory skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift trays up to 25 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of fine wine and spirits service is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure presentation meets restaurant standards
- Monitor guests' needs and respond promptly to requests
- Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
- Process bills and handle payments accurately (cash, card, or other methods)
- Upsell additional products and special menu items when appropriate
