We are excited to announce that The Boat House has reopened our à la carte dining experience, bringing back our signature dishes and introducing new, chef-driven creations in a refreshed, inviting atmosphere. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide courteous, efficient, and attentive service while ensuring that guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their visit.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Monitor tables to anticipate guests' needs, refilling beverages, and addressing any issues promptly.
Process payments, handle cash, and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guests.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
