Requirements

  • 16 years or older, pending specific state requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Successful background check and drug screen, state specific Health screening and TB tests, state specific ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card, state specific (we train)
  • Alcohol awareness certification state specific ( for those of age who will serve or pour)
  • The ability to work holiday and weekend shift schedules.
  • Basic computer skills

  • Prior experience with one-on-one customer service interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, guests and family members in a prompt, professional and courteous manner, and escort for proper seating
  • Take, prepare, and serve beverage orders
  • Take orders and process transactions, using the Point-of-Sale System
  • Prepare and serve orders, according to the established health and presentation standards
  • Clear and clean dining room tables in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Sanitize and clean the pantry, kitchen, and dining room areas, as outlined according to health and safety standards
  • Perform side-work and any opening and closing duties as required, such as dishes are washed, and stations areas are clean and organized, salad prep
  • Alert management to any customer food, service or safety concerns
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with excellent customer service skills
