Wings. Beer. Sports . It's what we do! We bring big game-time energy to our guests without being at the stadium. Our servers are tasked with the primary responsibility of creating a unique and personal experience for Buffalo Wild Wing’s Guests by enthusiastically and effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner. This role will focus their attention on guests seated in the full-service dining areas of the restaurant.

  • Provide a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and personally engage with guests through conversations supporting current sports events and other promotional activity
  • Present food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Inform guests of specials and/or promotions (food and beverage), answer questions pertaining to the food and beverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions to enhance the guest’s dining experience
  • Write Guest food orders on slips, memorize orders, and enter orders correctly into the Point-of-Sale system for transmittal to kitchen staff
  • Check Guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Serve food and/or beverages to guests to ensure an exceptional dining experience
  • Check with Guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and anticipate any need for corrective action to ensure Guest satisfaction – Inform Managers as needed
  • Follow steps of service and other CSP’s (Company Standard Procedures)
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
  • Collect and accurately process Guest payments
  • Remain knowledgeable of current marketing initiatives and upcoming events to proactively inform guests and invite them to return
  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills to serve BWW Guests and the ability to create a personalized, positive, and memorable dining experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Certifications to serve alcohol as dictated by the State and BWW policy
  • Basic knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
  • Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by both federal and state laws, and also BWW policies and guidelines
