Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• TAM Card (Alcohol Awareness Training).
• Food Handler Safety Training Card (Health Card).
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Writes order on check or memorizes it.
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.
• Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Completes all assigned side works and special projects.
• Effectively use suggestive selling techniques.
• Proficient in all POS system functions, including timing / firing orders and checkout procedures.
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions for guests according to company policy.
• Thorough knowledge of all beer on the menu, food items, and daily specials.
• Thorough knowledge of coupons, promotions and special events in the pub.
• Ensure that every food and/or beverage that is prepared is properly accounted for on each check.
• Inform the proper team members (manager, chef, etc.) of any needs or inefficiencies that affect dining room performance and ultimately, the guest.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
