About The Position

We are looking for Servers to join our team! Servers are the face of the restaurant. Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking and serving orders, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their meals, and maintaining a clean and organized area. You will be responsible for all aspects of the guest experience at the table, including greetings, menu sales, table maintenance, overall guest satisfaction and happiness, fond farewells, and maintaining a general command of the food and beverage menu. By providing high-quality service to each of our guests, servers help the restaurant maintain and attract customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Proven work experience, hotel level food serving preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Take orders from customers, accurately entering them into the restaurant's ordering system.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring that orders are correct and presented attractively.
  • Check on customers regularly to ensure that they are satisfied with their meals and to address any concerns.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, balancing receipts at the end of each shift.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Must have the ability to carry large trays of drinks and food and organize multiple orders.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of work area/assigned station and the establishment.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations, cleaning/clearing tables and checking tables before, during and while service is provided.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures, including food handling and sanitation.
  • Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned section.
  • Retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
  • Perform accurate cash/credit handling and POS procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
