About The Position

Summary: The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring each guest receives heart-felt hospitality. Essential Functions: Display a professional, polished appearance in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook. Perform side work. Take food and beverage orders. Replenish beverages and condiments. Periodic table checks to ensure guests are happy. Keep tables, dining room and stations clean. If opening, perform opening duties as assigned. If closing, perform closing duties as assigned. Deliver food and beverages to tables. Review all specials and menu items with the guests. Knowledge of the beer, wine, and cocktails list. Ensure all condiments are stocked and refilled. Ensure silverware is rolled, ready and available. This job description reflects the position’s essential functions; it does not encompass all of the tasks that may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior casual dining serving experience
  • Ability to connect with people
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Team Members and guests in English.
  • Must be able to read English.
  • Ability to move throughout a restaurant and/or office space (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout a restaurant working around equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
