About The Position

Eastern Standard: Server Overview of Concept: The Bower plaza in the Fenway is home to three concepts from ES Hospitality - Eastern Standard, reopened after 15 years in Kenmore Square, Equal Measure, a craft cocktail bar, and Standard Italian, a modern Italian restaurant. These concepts, helmed by Garrett Harker, serve brunch, lunch, dinner, and late-night drinks to neighborhood visitors, BU students and faculty, residents, and restaurant industry professionals alike. Garrett is joined by Beverage Director Jackson Cannon and Culinary Director Brian Rae in the operation of these concepts. About The Position: Eastern Standard is seeking Servers who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, remain constantly curious about all things food & beverage and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a server you’ll be on the front line representing Eastern Standard and the ES Hospitality brand. You’ll be responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests in a kind and professional manner, providing a memorable dining experience, and ensuring repeat business. You will also have the opportunity to work a variety of private and restaurant sponsored events. We love to throw a party at ES! Requirements

  • Guide the guest experience from start to finish while enthusiastically representing Eastern Standard and ES Hospitality as a whole
  • Seek to make meaningful connections with guests and to create memorable dining experiences
  • Possess some prior server experience, coupled with an eagerness to continue to learn and develop
  • Commit to continuous development of food, wine, beer, spirits and service knowledge
  • Possess a strong and professional work ethic
  • Have full weekend availability
