About The Position

Signatures at Bayside is excited to add a server position to our team. We are seeking qualified individuals with 1 to 2 years’ experience, who will ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests - this includes welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, the ability to know the finest details of the menu and to share this expertise with guests, answering any menu questions, providing our guests with a warm greeting, proper table setting, flawless food and beverage service, check-ins with each guest to ensure satisfaction with each food or beverage course, and a friendly, attentive, engaging demeanor throughout their experience. Applicants must be knowledgeable in the following areas: Dietary restrictions Allergies o Diligently communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen Must be able to respectfully communicate with fellow team members and managers. All to meet our goal of providing each guest with a dining experience that they will remember after they leave. Beyond exceptional service, we also require that the qualified individual completes opening and closing side work as assigned while also maintaining cleanliness of work areas (plateware, glassware, dining areas, etc) throughout the shift. Applicants should be able to stand and work for extended periods of time, as well as move, lift carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50lbs without assistance. They must also be present for all pre-shift meetings and ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. We also require the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience
  • Knowledgeable in dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Ability to respectfully communicate with team members and managers
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time
