About The Position

We are seeking experienced, professional Servers to help launch and represent The Daily Catch’s first West Coast dining room. The ideal candidate has strong hospitality instincts, excellent communication skills, and thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments. You’ll deliver warm, attentive service while telling the story of our food, our family, and the traditions that define The Daily Catch. Founded in 1973 in Boston’s North End , The Daily Catch is a family-owned Sicilian-style seafood and pasta restaurant known for fresh, authentic, East Coast flavors. With three Boston locations and a wholesale seafood business at Boston’s Fish Pier, we’ve served seafood lovers from around the world for over 50 years. Now, we’re bringing that heritage to the West Coast with the opening of The Daily Catch Pasadena - our first California location - arriving Spring 2026 . Fresh New England seafood will be flown in multiple times per week and prepared with our signature family recipes. At The Daily Catch, we value craftsmanship, teamwork, and pride. Servers are more than order-takers - they are storytellers and ambassadors of our East Coast heritage. We provide comprehensive training in seafood, wine, Sicilian cuisine, and hospitality, along with pathways for growth as we expand across the West Coast. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years serving in a high-volume , full-service restaurant.
  • Strong communication and guest interaction skills.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently during busy service.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Italian cuisine, seafood, or wine preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage guests with genuine hospitality and confidence.
  • Guide guests through the menu - explaining seafood species, pasta dishes, and wine pairings.
  • Enter orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any needs with care and professionalism.
  • Prepare and serve wine, beer, and cocktails responsibly.
  • Maintain clean tables, side stations, and dining room flow.
  • Perform opening, service, and closing side work.
  • Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service.
