About The Position

At Viva Chicken, were redefining what fast casual dining feels like. With vibrant flavors, authentic Pollo a la Brasa (Peruvian rotisserie chicken), fresh ingredients, and genuine hospitality in every guest interaction, were passionate in creating memorable guest experiences. Our Servers are the heart of our in-restaurant hospitality, bringing the warmth and attentiveness of full-service dining to our fast casual setting. The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service within the dining area. This position focuses on guest interaction, dining room cleanliness, and proactive service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued from arrival to departure.   • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every guest with a genuine smile and friendly energy upon entering and exiting.
  • Engage with guests throughout their meal. Make eye contact, initiate friendly conversation, and anticipate needs.
  • Conduct two-minute check-backs to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Offer drink refills, offer additional sauces by thoroughly describing them to the guest, offer to-go boxes as appropriate.
  • Assist guests with seating and provide highchairs for families with small children.
  • Maintain spotless and always inviting dining areas including maintaining table tents in great condition and stocking paper towel rolls.
  • Sweep floors, clean spills immediately, and ensure tables are promptly cleared and reset.
  • Utilize Wet Floor sign as needed.
  • Keep glass doors, windows, and ledges free of smudges and fingerprints.
  • Restock and organize the condiment station, silverware, and drink area.
  • Rotate bus tubs and empty trash as needed to maintain flow and sanitation.
  • Conduct restroom checks every 30 minutes, ensuring they are clean and fully stocked.
  • Communicate with managers and teammates to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist with running food when needed, maintaining accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Support management in delivering consistent and high-quality dining experiences to guests.
