As a server, your primary responsibility is delivering excellent dining services to all our residents, which requires intimately knowing every resident and their unique preferences and needs. Other primary responsibilities include: Ensuring residents experience a compassionate, friendly and efficient dining experience in all three dining room venues Support and encourage your fellow Dining team members Utilizing a digital POS system to take food and beverage orders from residents in a timely and organized fashion, which requires knowing the menu (and ingredients of menu items) and memorizing the daily specials Setting and clearing tables, washing table tops and condiment containers after every meal Maintain clean and fully supplied coffee and juice bar in the Bistro Keep the servery and dining room meticulously clean at all times
Requirements
- At least 17 years of age
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Current CA food handlers card
- Interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
- Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
