The Server provides exceptional Royal Service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly. This role ensures a positive dining experience by addressing customer needs, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and collaborating with kitchen staff for accurate order delivery. As a representative of Castle Royal Service, he or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.

  • Greet residents promptly, make menu recommendations, repeat back orders for accuracy, deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, present check, collect funds for payment and make change quickly.
  • Follows local, state and federal health standards, and follows recipes designed by onsite F&B leadership.
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the bar, dining room, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the onsite F&B leadership.
  • Hand wash and/or use of industrial dishwashers for glassware and other barware items.
  • Always follow sanitation policies
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of basic restaurant sanitation.
  • Continuing education will be offered and administered as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for success
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and follow directions from supervisors
  • Ability to work fast, effectively and stay focused under pressure
  • Consistently showing up on time and ready to perform all duties as assigned.
  • Capability to manage multiple tables, handle orders, and maintain a clean and organized dining area simultaneously.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, may fluctuate. May handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; complete all required forms.
  • May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis. May be occasionally required to cover for front desk staff at other communities within a reasonable commuting distance when needed.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements. Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner.
  • Able to work under pressure, maintain composure and utilize good judgement during emergency/difficult and stressful situations.
  • Multilingual preferred but not required
