About The Position

The incumbent will provide excellent service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, addressing customer needs, and helping create a positive dining experience.

Requirements

Valid Arizona Food Handler’s certificate (required prior to or within the timeframe required by local county health department regulations).
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior restaurant experience is required to function efficiently in this role.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in point of sales system.
Access to email service.
This position requires reading, writing, and communicating fluently in English to process orders and convey pertinent information with guests and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

Prior serving or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a polite, positive manner and create an atmosphere of hospitality.
Take food and drink orders accurately.
Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Promote menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.
Possess a working knowledge of all food, beverage, and specials on offer for our guests.
Responsible for overall guest satisfaction and assist guests in their dining experience.
Check on guests periodically to ensure all needs are met to their satisfaction.
Required to accurately input orders through our POS system and confirm accuracy.
Work closely with colleagues to relay pertinent information and function efficiently as a team.
Must work efficiently and in a timely manner even during times of increased business.
Understand and work efficiently in the layout and processes of the restaurant.
Responsible for handling cash transactions and maintaining proper reporting.
Maintain cleanliness and health code standards of the restaurant.
Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
