About The Position

Senior Lifestyle is seeking individuals who embody their mission to brighten and enrich lives with HEART (Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork). In this role, the Server will provide quick, efficient, and pleasant food and beverage service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met. Responsibilities include accepting food orders, communicating with the kitchen, delivering food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs, actively bussing and resetting tables, and completing assigned side work. The Server is expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Requirements

• Ability to go through food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills are needed for POS system and payroll system.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
