JOB OVERVIEW Provide exceptional customer service to guests dining in restaurant by taking orders, serving guests, advising guest of available food and beverage options, satisfying guest needs and following Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Four Diamond Service Expectations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Greet table once sat Provide menu tour, answer questions about menu items. Make recommendations for accompanying cocktails, beer and wine selections. Closely monitor guest dining experiences and report any issues to Restaurant Manager. Follow and satisfy Forbes Four Star Service Expectations. Follow department opening/closing procedures. Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards. Create guest checks and payments. Responsible and accountable for all equipment and materials handled. Acquire and practice exceptional menu/wine knowledge and up-selling techniques. Attend training sessions and complete training project tasks. Communicate and maintain strong relationships with other departments. Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
