About The Position

As a Server at Star Cinema Grill, you will play a crucial role in providing guests with a memorable dining experience through exceptional hospitality and service. Your responsibilities will include staying informed about menu offerings, assisting guests with their selections, and ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere. This position requires a passion for customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant and cinema needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and/or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu edits.
• Presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, and informing guests about food preparation details.
• Maintaining proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Assisting with special events as needed.
• Greeting all guests in a hospitable and warm manner.
• Understanding and communicating all products and services available.
• Committing to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Practicing appropriate/required safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.
