About The Position

The position involves providing immediate attention to all guests upon seating, describing the specials of the day, and answering questions regarding menu items. The role requires taking food and beverage orders from guests and delivering them promptly after preparation. Follow-up with guests to ensure satisfaction is essential, along with replenishing items as needed. Participation in pre-shift meetings and taste tests is expected, as well as maintaining an organized workstation and completing side work duties. The position also includes setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift and being accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilization of the Point of Sales System is required, along with following established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders. The role demands adherence to established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques, including practicing tray service for all food and beverage service. Cross-training in bartending service is required, and safe work practices must be incorporated into job performance. A valid driver license is required for operating the picker for range balls and the golf cart. Regular and reliable attendance is necessary, and the employee may be required to perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
  • Alcohol Awareness Training.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
  • Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledge of POS system.
